Hey im just switching from max over to maya to see if itll be and better, andf i got a plane going here for one of the projects im doing and i cant find the smooth tool, Like its called meshsmooth in max, to smooth the whole object, would anyone know were this is :) and im just box modeling the plane if you want to know.

Hey, sounds like you're me a few weeks ago :)

Meshsmooth is called "Smooth" in Maya, you'll find it in the Polygons menu. You can dabble at bit with the Smooth Proxy one as well, but I don't personally enjoy it for what it's worth. The vanilla Smooth you apply, and can remove, like you do with the MeshSmooth.

Oh, you can remove it by going into the Attribute Editor (CTRL-A), then finding the node called something like polySmooth1 or whatnot, then hit the Select button at the buttom, activate the main interface and then hit the Delete button. Hooray.

My experience thus far is that Maya ain't bad.. ain't bad at all.. :)
