what advantage does edgeextrude have now that it is incorporated into R8?

In my defense, you mention in your top post there that you want people to post explanations to how the plugs are used--I actually clarified that a bit in my description of chestnuts.

EdgeExtrude is still important because it allows you illegal meshes, R8 edge extrude doesn't. About the comments... i'd like to have those threads only for a list of tuts and plugs, if you need to comment something then open a new thread, it's better to keep things clear and clean.
