I have a problem when i render. All the frames but the last, render. When it gets to the last max crashes. I've been told that exporting as a tga file instead of an avi and sending it to videopost would fix this.

Could anyone tell me how i go about putting a tga file into video post and please explain to me how this fixes the problem?

The reason I ask is because I am currently compiling a report which requires me to explain how i would fix this problem. Help is much appreciated!
Thx
Mark

Howdy !

it's rather a work around to your problem than a fix. But it should do it, instead of rendering to avi file, which you might loose if render stops upon completing the last frame (or any frame), you'll render a sequence of tgas (or whatever file format), that you'll be able to pack back together in an avi file if you will.
Just saving you the trouble from loosing any frame at rendering, and if it crashes, you can always resume your render from the frame it crashed, saving you time.

As for sticking them back together into a single avi file, hit "F1" and look for Video Post.
