Hi all. a small question. in attachment you have a scene with some joints, two clustered curves with point and orient constraints on joints. Something is working wrong and if you move the ik handle, you will notice the orient constraints are flipping... Does anybody have an answer on why it behaves like that, and how to solution?
thnx in advance,
Vincenzo

Simply select your orient constraints and change the "interpolation type" field from "Average" to "No Flip".

Bye!

Well. I tried, but it still goes that way or, anyway, it still behaves strange. I think it's something about interpolation in the angle calculation.
I partially solutioned it by applying an additional 2 joints chain with rp-ik handle constrained to the next joint in the main joint hierarchy, just to keep orient constraining to just one object.
If it sounds a little weird take a look at the scene in attachment.

Anyway, if someone has a better and cleaner solution...
Vince
