View Full Version : conform a spline to an object surface

i'm wondering if there's an easy way to:


- have an existing polygon mesh
- draw a spline in front view (spline will be in front of mesh)
- make it somehow conform the surface of the mesh
(e.g. by just changing the y coordinates of each point)

is there some kind of modifier, automatism or whatever to do so?

or is there a better way to change high polygon models (a face in this case) into a nurbs model with less splines ?

Check out the Conform Space Warp or the ShapeMerge Compound Object.
