hi ppl..I used Modo for model, Maya for rendering + material + lights - Mental ray for rendering and Photoshop for composition + color correction and final touches...

btw..i didnt use dielectric mat for glass...i used dgs_material :-)
u can get really nice results (for glass) with dgs too!

sweeet very nice looking ferrari... there are a couple minor artifacts on the bottom of the left front scoop but other than that it looks totally real. great job :thumbsup:

hmm.. i didnt consider about photo composition...
maybe i don't wanna this car completely "real"
..maybe... i wanna feel cg there :)

Very nice, very good render. What's the shader u used for the car, i still havent found a way to get a really good car paint shader in mental ray

i used shader from highend3d.com...really great shader
check this out :-)

btw..i used hdri globe (but really strongly blured and simple texture)..and 3 narrow planes around car for white and black reflexion...1 is from the top, second1 is from left side and last1 is from right side...and try to connect sampler info node to that shader i linked :-) play with it.
