View Full Version : zbrush displacement maps

ok here's the problem....

I'm following this paper from zbrush.com... and I get to the part where I'm transfering the displacement map to maya and this is what happens...

I'm rendering in mental ray... I know this is more of a rendering problem but I'm sure that modelers have had this problem too...

So I am posting here...

ok well I figured it out... I was using NURBS surface approximaiton... instead of polygon subdivision approximation... that was making the problem... thanks anyway for looking... still take a look at my model and let me know what you think...
