View Full Version : Laser - Should I use caustics?

Hello all,
I'm doing some work on a laser, but have never gotten a good effect like what I'm wanting with this piece.

Here's a test I did last night.

I want a glow, but not like the fog maya gives you. I'm messing with lighting an caustics, but just can't acheive the laser feel. Does anyone have any suggestions that might help?
