This piece is entitled 'A World of Hope', and it was my entry for this year's postcard contest held by the UNICEF. Although I wasn't chosen among the finalists, I am quite happy with the results. According to the brief, it had to be visually attractive for kids and far apart from commercial art styles. The illustration goes around the concept of children as mankind's hope for a new, better world. I used Corel Painter over a scanned lineart, trying to mimic traditional brushes. I would like critique about composition and color. Comments are welcome. Thanks for considering.

I don't know why it wasn't chosen--I knew what it was as soon as I opened the window, and I buy UNICEF cards occasionally--this is perfect. It's so nice to see something happy for a change:-)

Perfect card for the contest:thumbsup:..As its really meaningfull as well as conceptually good..Dont know why it hasnt chosen by the UNICEF members..To me its really good..God bless u..Keep smiling:)
