Title: Empire Stealth Soldier
Name: Michael Voeller
Country: USA
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop
This is the Empire Stealth Class for the Half-Life 2 mod Nuclear dawn. I modeled him in 3DS Max, displaced the cloth parts in Mudbox and painted the textures in Photoshop.

Nice textures and caracter! But how can he be a stealth with those shiny armor?
Anyway i like it!
Good character and the textures are so great! But take a closer look at the right hand (the one which lays on his arm) there is no shadow under the hand. It looks more like the hand is floating above and not resting on his upper arm. But that's an easy fix.
Good job.

Very nice, this guy seems really serious and the knife and pose make it clearly known.

Hi,
Stunning image, pose and ambiance are really nice.
Two things stick out that spoil an otherwise perfect shot - the abovementioned shadowless hand - and the exagerated depth of field effect, bluring the back foot. As it is not a closeup shot, the whole character should in theory share the same field of focus.
One question on the modelling, your wires are very interesting by the way as it is deceiving how much detail you have pulled from the texturing. Why is the mesh seamingly un-optimised, there seem to be lots of unessesary triangles?
Great work, very impressive character!

Very nice as I've mentioned already in the WIP section. Fantastic texturing
One small crit: the creases above the boots seem a wee bit mechanical and flat (the height and depth of the folds is perhaps too similar) when compared to the rest of them.
Still the feet ;)
Very good work though.

Hey there!
The work on shader is so wonderfull, love it! So perfect. Design is cool, lot of very nice details.
I also love the kind of garter belts (?), it give him a S-M style ^^
Favorite are arm-gloves and all thoose clips. And the elastic belt in back of knee protections. So well done! Mastered.

Some stuff bothers me, like the knee protection: it's totally possible like that, but at the end of the day, it must be really hurting the thigh area just on top of the knee? imvho I would have done it a bit more ergonomic. Also the belt on the arm/biceps. Ok well, polys don't suffer this kind of maniac things ^^

Great work anyway. Congrats!
4 BIG stars from me.
I learnt a lot with your work.
Thanks for sharing.
