you have to link them from your own host. this way you can also attach files which are bigger than 20k. has all to do with the cgtalk server being low on bandwidth due to all the pictures, etc.

the robot looks good so far, maybe show us another camera angle, which is a bit more dynamic, would make it easier to say more. :)

The robot looks pretty slick. I like the texturing... smooth. Possibly add a bit of dirt and scratches?

lighting is nice with lights from above and behind. modelling looks good as well.
nothing much to criticize here from my side i must say. :)

some hosts dont like it, if you link to stuff on their servers from another server. this is i think exactly whats happening..

so, either get another host, or put your image as a link for people to copy and paste into a new browser window...

(which will probably prevent all the lazy people from looking, so get another host ;) )

the atmosphere in the 2nd pic with the lighting at the back is really nice, whereas the first one is a bit too flat for my liking. the whole room seems to be just THERE without any dark corners or anything...

Thank you for the comments Stimpy. you're right with the lights, the piece is not much darker. the next stage of my work is to get the lights in right place
