View Full Version : problem with tp and particles distance
rulze 04-16-2007, 08:03 AM hello,
it is possible to made the distance from the parctles smaller?
the problem is, if i have a emitter on staic position the particles are right:
the distance is: - - - - but if i animate the emitter
the distance is: - - - -
- = partilces
here is the file: http://3dwork.ch/prob.rar
sory for my english but i hope someone understand me and can help me.

Hi,
I am not sure if i understood your problem... but if you want cinema to place particles between the positions of a fast moving emitter in two following frames, you can work with "emitter velocity".
Make a new Input Port on your PStorms ("Emitter velocity"), and connect them with the Output-Port "Position velocity" of your "TP_emiiter_L"-object.
Now increase the emitting-"Rate" of your PStorm.
I hope I could help you (und wenn ich es lieber auf Deutsch erklären soll, kann ich das zur Not auch! ;-) )
Cheers, Jochen
I'm not realy sure i understood the problem, but maybe you have a problem with particle spacing between frames.
In this case try to use the point velocity otuput of the emitte robject with the emitter velocity input port of PStorm. This will even out the particle distribution over the distance.
Cheers
Björn
