I was trying to make this Link (http://www.ayatoweb.com/ae_tips_e/ae17_e.html#), but i don't get how to make the first step with Adobe Illustrator. Smt with "Blend tool" ??? Can anybody help me???

If you are using text of some sort, just create outlines to make it a path and apply gradients form black to white depending on what you want to appear first in AE

As I mentioned in my previous post. Select the text or, if

is a bitmap, trace it in Illustrator.
Then apply gradient to each letter.
And follow ayato's tutorial from there.

When i take the Blen tool, must I set some options???
