View Full Version : Boolean Operations
rudipooimf 03-10-2003, 03:45 PM Can anyone give me an assist and tell me, do Boolean Operations like subtraction translate over to the OBJ format on export? For some reason when i import an OBJ with a boolean into other programs it's usually fouled up...any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem. Seems like it's better not to use boolean if you wanna export as an obj file.

You should delete the history on the 2 objects, it could also be that your problem is related to the fact that Maya always show 2 sided shading. And you Other package doesn,t. In this way it becomes a Normal issue. Then you should try to flip the faces that doesn't show up correctly.
