I just don't see any comedy in those things.

Foreign people are somehow entertaining because of their broken english? I find this a little bit offensive. Something tells me they never ran this through focus group testing.

I haven't seen any humor in these Oleg things either. However, I don't feel focus groups are the answer.

I find one thing of value in these things that I can respect. They needed to create some cheap animation to make this worth it to them. They certainly designed something that can be done inexpensively.

Notice, we never see his lips move and all riders in his cab are shown through the rear view mirror. Because of this, they can effectively just edit a new animation together without actually animating new material (except for back seat passegers). Genious!

if you only narrow in on one little piece of any joke, you are sure to be offended by anything, and everything. the focal point of the english lesson was the phrases he was learning.

focus groups testing is good for measuring the response a product generates, not for testing to see if anyone is direly offended. besides... the "freedom of expression" is often confused with "the right to not be offended". if it offends you, you dont have to listen/watch/taste/see the offending material.

dont watch fox, and i'm sure television will be an offense-free medium for you.

I sure have an accent when talking in English, and some people are always making a little fun of it, no need to be offended..actually girls thinks it's cute so I guess I'm not too mad about it. :)

cheers

That wasn't so much offensive as it was "meh."
