alright i got my sever back up, anyway i still need to add a staff or something but the model is prety much done. i rigged it up with many contraints so it is very easily animateable,i rendered it with a little too much specular bloom but it gave the image a soft quality that i have never achived before, fantasy like , so i kind of dig it but id like to see what you guys think please drop some crits
ill post some animation tests in the future

Hey rizob, very nice little creature you got there, nice job on the texturing and render as well, what soft you using.
Now all you need to do is animate :bounce:

hehe this is cool,I can imagine him having a massive sword or large old looking gun of some kind :)

I'm not keen on the soft fuzzy look though, have you got a render of it without?

character is looking ace though

I kinda like the soft look its a ton different than most completly digital looking things that you usually see.

nice work

I think the character looks great! But I think you are right about the specular bloom effect being a bit much. I like to add the specular bloom effect to my renderings but it seems like you should really do it in post (Photoshop, AfterEffects, etc) rather than when rendering. In post you can tweak the hell out of the effect very fast without re-rendering. And as far as I can tell you get the exact same effect.

Just my 2¢
