It'd be nice to see some bigger renders. Hard to tell with such a small pic. I think the head seems too squashed in the first image.
Show us what you got!

It looks very stretched. Otherwise it's not bad.

Hi - nice looking head but mind if I make a couple of comments?
As the previous post says the head does look a bit stretched vertically, just stretch the whole thing back again and it will look a lot better. The overall look is fine but for me the lips don't wrap enough around the head. The jawline looks a bit too harshly curved too. Good attempt though :bounce:

There comes a point when commenting on heads where you have to decide if something is within the boundaries of what a head may look like and the model you have in front of you - difficult to say at times!

Its actually coming along well but you seem to have a bit jutting out at the top of the nose, right on the brow ridge that does look a bit strange - flatten that out a bit and see what you think of it. The earlobes would suggest that the character was aging as ears tend to get longer for males as they grow older.

Its looking a lot better than it was - you've managed to deal with the stretched out problem very well. Oh and well done on creating the ear - that's the bit that a lot of people leave out!

There's just one big problem I'm seeing in this model-- you have to remember that the photos you're using as reference are distorted by the camera. Modeling your head to match the photos in an orthographic viewport is going to make it too skinny.

The human head is usually about 5 eyes wide-- check that, it might help!

Okay, the head IS 5 eyes wide... but only at the widest part of the skull up above the ears, it tapers a LOT from there, which looks pretty strange. Also the ears seem much too large.

It's hard to tell much about your wireframe when you show it subdivided-- show the base level mesh instead and we can help more.

I really like this WIP

Your character looks like he could be a lab assistant anyday :surprised

Please keep up the excellent work

Looks like the ears are a little too low. Not too much, but just enough to be noticeable. If I remember correctly where the ears attach should be in line with the corner of the eye. See attached image.
