Hi people it's been like 2 years since i was last here beleive it or not, but i have current made the most of it in the way of study. I graduated in the NQ for Computing and Multimedia from 2005 to 2006 and currenly on my last 7 weeks of my HNC (includes 3 HND Units) of Interactive Multimedia Creation at College. I have used Cinema 4D R9 XL in most of my creative coursework and i have impressed the teachers with creative skills. I currently have 50 Music tracks (yeah you read that right 50) that are free hear for those that have or use Reason 3.0 (some are streamed from soundclick however) >>>> these tracks have also been reviewed.

Ok onto my question, it's been a while since i looked at upgrading Cinema 4D and i said that i would stop at V9 XL but if i do upgrade what are the main advantages and will it support the great free Jenna Plugin that was given away on 3D World Magazine that seemed like goldust since it's developers stopped updating it?

No Jenna won't work very well if at all, but MoGraph pretty much makes up for it.

I have been running some old jenna 2.25 projects with R10 on Win32; all seems to work fine.
can't say i really have a need for it with MoGraph in the toolbox.

the main things lost are the symbiont (might be updated one day) and Samir's pre-DPIT plugins (he had a crash, no backups and so no way to generate serials). Also eventually Stormtracer as Paul said he won't generzte new serials anymore.

don't forget to install 10.1!

btw: welcome back. hope you had a pleasant life in between.

And on the Mac... any plugin that hasn't been updated to UB - so most plugins that are not in current development such as Jenna
