Title: At the Hun
Name: Johnnie Estill II
Country: United States
Software: 3ds max, HDR Shop

I have had this idea for sometime now. I had this little building model that I created quite a while ago and I have my D`juli character, so I decided to put them in a cool new scene. I like the thought of a futuristic Hawaii. I don’t know why, but it works for me. I have never used HDRI lighting with the standard scanline renderer in 3ds Max before and anyone that has been in the tropics knows that the Sun has a radiant glow effect off of buildings. Which can give some architecture an ethereal look. I think that it turned out really well. It reminds me of a post card. This is my kind of place and look! They serve Guinness!

great shot! love the radiosity off the architecture and the models themselves. how did you actually achieve that glow off your architecture/models? im trying to achieve the same effects but currently i am using brazil to render out my scenes and its not giving off that unreal/GoW type of lighting that i want. if you could give a few pointers, that would be much appreciated. thanks
