View Full Version : Ex-L.O.R. Challenge Entry - Guess Who?
dmonk 03-09-2003, 11:34 PM This was my character for the recent challenge. Time didn't permit me to finish, so I will be working on it here. I will not be sticking to the script of my back story that I wrote on the first page of my challenge entry.
This guy will be pretty recognizeable once I put some more work in.
Hint 1: Comics

Should not his tail be blue? It's nice work thus far.

a lot of the stuff for the uniform will be displacement maps and texture maps.

Closer to final materials A few bits and pieces to model before I texture.

There's a bit of sharpness around the torso. WHere the outer "love handles" are. You could smooth those down a bit.

The chin is a bit flat also. I don't know much about nightcrawler except for what I aw in XMEN2, but I'd curve the chin a bit.

The costume won't be exactly skintight when it's finished. I'm still modelling lil' bits. The jaw was just the way I drew it in the original drawing. This guy that does comics does his characters in this style and I just liked it. Tht torso will make more since when it's textured and more detail's are added.
Thanks for the input though!

Thanks!
I liked the head a bit bigger, but you have a point. I'll try to make some harmony between the head and body. I'll have more time to work on it now that the wedding is over with.
