What i need to do

*Model wing mirrors

*Increase orange saturation on front lights

*give the panels more depth

*find close up reference for the lights patturn

*model back lights

*model toyota logo

*model underside

*create a better tire material

*model interior

*model new alloys.

Anything else please suggestion

i forgot to add its missing spoiler and a front air intake aswell! :P

Once i've modeled the stock version completely i plan on doing a rally version.

IF anyone wants to know this was modeled with 3d studio max and rendered with a skylight.

notice the windshield, how the reflection of the sky is all distorted?
dont you think the windshield would be better off smooth?

think about that for the ENTIRE body of the car,
just like a real car, when you get your dents repaired, the most important factor is the reflection, even a minor dent that you might not see normally, will show up when you have a strong reflection on that surface.

Just try to smooth things out.

not bad so far.. I'd give you a list of things it's missing or needs to have fixed, but you already seem to know what you're doing. Do everything on your list, and it should be a fine looking model at the end!

Looks great, but it could do with some sharper edges and it should sit lower on it tyres.

i've already modeled the treads! why would i want to use a bump map? :P

the treads i modeled i've took from another of my models

http://www.hlrally.net/~simon/3d/Rimms1024x768.jpg

they don't show through yet properly cos of the basic light set up etc..

I've been concentrating on the model more than the materials/lighting.

It's turning out very good!
At some places it's too edgy, I think, but I'm sure you'll fix that...
Keep it up!
