Hey!
Reg on making a Lighting/rendering show reel
Do u guys think it is more advisable to render out a show reel in Default Maya/3dMax scanLine renderer than Complex renderers like Mentalray,Vray,brazil... G.I,F.G ...blah blah...
as in a S/w renders we could have more control of the lights and the composition of the scene and get a better understanding like where wd the light bounce, attenuate...etc
than letting the other complex renders to calculate it for Us ,
I know that the Quality wd be compromised with default renders,
But, what wd a potential employer look for in a lighting reel??
Thanks,
