hy every one i saw one ad in which there were some charecter actually that was a video but they were in all in one solid color. how can we convert a video like that. is there any plugin or its done by hand. plz if any have any info. thanks in advance.

Key or roto the character, use the resulting mask as a travelling matte on a black layer.

I did a few tutorials for AE that involve roto. One shows all the roto tools available to you in AE, the other is some super easy splitscreening, but I show some really quick, rough rotoing in it.
