View Full Version : Porsche Boxster 3D (max5-Brazil V1.0.0)
JWRodegher 03-09-2003, 09:25 PM I would like to show you my newest work which is my 2nd model, like the topic says, a Porsche Boxster. In the first "wallpaper" of pictures, youŽll see the first three are a low poly version which reach the 1200 polys. All the other are high poly (over 260.000)
The method I used is splines with surface tools, got the blueprints.
So, here you go the "wallpaper"

Your headlights need alot of work. they actuly are the wrong shape, in that last post you can really pic it out, maybe get a scale model or more refrences. also pay more atention to your pannel edges. they all look like razor blades. you should put tabs on them to hide the sharp edge. and your boot and bonnet need to be more of a snug fit.
Your wheels are looking very nice but again Very sharp edges were the locknuts would go.
and one last thing is your model does not have a very smooth look to it. Up your smothing so that you dont notice any edges, you notice it alot around the headlights.
Sorry if i got carried away. Just picking out what i noticed. go look
this might help, this guy modeled that same car as what you are doing and put a bit of a tatorial up too.
