Title: Interior Metro Tianjin/China
Name: Karsten Angermann
Country: Germany
Software: After Effects, Maya
This image is taken from an animation we did for a design studio in Berlin/Germany. It shows the interior of a metro train, which was designed for the city of Tianjin/China. The trainstation was created inspired by the architectural work of Santiago Callatrava. The train was modelled from a couple of blueprints and designsketches.
We tried to catch some kind of realistic lightning to give a good feeling of the space inside the train. To keep the deadline of this project, we had to bake the whole interior to speed up the rendering of the scene.
All in all it took 2 1/2 weeks within modelling and rendering for a 60 seconds presentation film (2 guys working on it).
Modelling, Texturing, Lightning, Rendering was done in MAYA. The compositing of the animation we did in AfterFX.
Notes are welcome!
