View Full Version : Spiraling Noise

Hi there
Anyone knows if there's a way of making the noise texture spiral or be sucked in the direction of a point?
As it is, it can be defined a direction of the movement (x,y,z) and speed but i was trying to achieve a vortex type, with the noise flowing in a "hole".
Any quick hints?

why not use the galaxy or cyclone shaders?

Make disc, set as many loops towards the middel as feasible, make it editable, select edge loops towards center, select soft select, rotate the edges, select move tool, move down to build funnel. Now assign noise texture. Animate rotation, and pray you don't get sick during the render while looking at it.
