Just learned UVW unwrapping a few days ago so I'm trying to get a lot of practice at texturing.

Here's a little test scene, please excuse the simple lighting, etc. :)

In 3DS I just applied the unwrap UVW modifier, then I selected all the faces under the unwrap UVW modifier, then I clicked unwrapped it as a "box" model. Then I cloned the boards, then I applied the same basic textures to all the boards, but I just rotated, added noise, etc. :)

Feel free to give any constructive criticism. As for me, it's 2:10am, and I'm tired, time for some sleeeeeep. :D

Looks pretty darned good to me

The only very minor tweak that I could suggest would be to ever-so-slightly reduce the level of bump. Other that that, it looks great.

Cool deal. :)

I just sorta put bump on there to add variety to the scene (only some of the planks have bump) because I just mapped one texture and then rotated, etc. Thanks for the advice. :D
