Hi!
I am totally newbie in MaxScript :)
Can somebody help me to write(or to write for me and us :)) such script.
TownMaker.
For first time I want that it work like Greeble. Using selected polygons.
Main functions:
On selected poly’s script make inset(controlled settings(CS)), then it create there a boxes, or make an extrude(CS with random factor) and then using CS for box(H W segments) or using connect(CS) for selected edges(of “buildings”) it make Stages and windows for “buildings”, but using clever:) system that used Height of “buildings” and make “normal” scaled stages(CS).
Additional functions:
Using selected “windows” Polys it makes CS inset.
Using some code or “Blur Random Select” script make SubObject ID’s for “fundament”, ”normal windows” and “colored(with lights) windows”(randomly BlurScript).
Creates MultiSubobject’s material for “fundament”, ”normal windows” and “colored(with lights) windows”.
What you can to propose (if you understand my poor English)… Can anybody write THIS J
