Sometimes I had to scale imported objects up many times incase of using default meter unit in C4D, so big compare to others.

Scale for example, does it appear in the object manager?

If you have a polygon object in the object manager, then look at the coordinates. If you have coordinates then you probably have your object positioned very far away from world center, or it may be at world center and just too big or small to see. Also, try selecting your object in the OM and hitting the "o" key. That should center it in view.

When you say 'it didn't show up', was there anything in the Object Manager? If so, it did load.

Then, as others have noted, it could be the location of the geometry in relation to the coordinate origin and/or the import scale. For instance, Poser uses and exports at a microscopic scale compared to Cinema 4D (1.0 ~= 8.6 ft). You want to set your import scale to something like 500-1000 in Cinema Preferences:Import/Export:Wavefront Import in this situation.

If the mesh is far from the coordinate origin, you'll want to hit 'o' or 'h' to center it in the View. You can then fix this discrepancy (if desired) by selecting the axis tool and moving the axis to be centered within the mesh (then you can go back to object tool and zero the coordinate position). There might even be a plugin that does this for you. :)
