Title: Hungry
Name: Linda Smith
Country: United States
Software: Photoshop

This was a fun piece I did, getting used to a new pc and monitor that actually work. I am a potter/sculpterr and I think that influenced the big dinosaurs skin quite a bit as it turned out to look like a raku pot. The textures were all painted in with the exception of some of the work on the fins, I did use a texture brush I made myself on parts of those.

I used many references for the large dino mostly for the mouth, but because all images of dinosaurs are someone elses artwork I had to make sure my dino is original. No reference was used for the hungry prehistoric bird.

I will post a link below for the references I used.

Here is the link for my dinosaur references. Some really nice art here, not sure who did it though

I'm just proud of your improvement with color and textures.
You always have a great sense of humor!!!
There is a week left, will you do another 'entry' for the contest?

I think this is your best to date, Linda!:)

Great idea and wonderful use of color and textures, I almost feel sorry for poor Dino, he should have known better than to mess with an hungry chick. ;)
