I am trying to understand the process behind creating a glass shader, but sadly there is no good tuts around that I can learn off (that I can find using google and going around on the forums). The thing is is that I just don't want to follow a tut word for word on how to create a shader and then when I need to create another similar one I will need to go back to that tut.
I want to LEARN the process of how to make a photo-realistic glass. On top of that I also want to learn how to render it out properly using reflections, refractions and so on.. but I will leave that for now.
So, if anyone knows of a good site that will explain this (and yes, I have read the help file) it would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
