View Full Version : Texturing Problems With Geometery-aprox

Hello All.

I am modelling this butterfly to be composed with real footage. I have just worked out how to texture the different parts individually but have a problem with using GEOMETERY-APROXOMATION on the mesh. As you can probably see the texture shrinks due to the extra polygons.

Is there anything blindingly wrong I am doing, some option I don’t know about? Any help, hints or tips would be greatly received.

Use hard edges :cool:

or in the texture editor, just alter the mesh so it falls inside the texture a bit.

Cheers Grendizer that was exactly what i wanted thankyou very very much. Tuna, i counldn't shinks the mesh because the empty space around the texture were new polygons created by the Geom-aprox. Thanks for the post though.
