Awwwwwwww, isn't he cute?! :D With that little smirk and everything! He's great!
One crit-- his upper lip seems too hard-edged, especially when pursed, it ought to squish rounder when he presses his lips together.

My god Raul...
Everything is so good...
Maybe add subtle wrinkles to the forehead to show his age more.
Wow...

Your ability to model organic shapes never fails to astound me - you are extremely gifted.
This character is looking beautiful so far - you transfered the concept to the model extremely well
I'd love to see a better lit model though - rendering it out so dark does no justice to it ;)
hehe nice!! Very charismatic ;)

hey Raul
The cap looks great, very nice. You keep saying he is his brother?? Actually, withpout the cap i could see a father in him, because he has more wrinkles on his face. That would be a nice concept, father and son. But the father is more evil, wanting to drag the son in to his evil way's, could be a very nice story behind that i think.
Very nice work....... i send you e-mail check it please... and let's forget our previous collision, allright!!!!

Heya Raul, very nice model you've got here! Yeah, I like the cap a lot, keep it! And wheter to use brazil or scanline, I'd say use the faster of them :D At the moment it doesn't make much difference...
Man! Really astonishing modeling... oh yeah, and the poses, I also liked them very much! Just you keep it up, I'm watching! :D

Hi Raul...........I sent you back a return PM,but something was wrong with my PM's for awhile.I was getting them, but for some reason I was unable to get them out,but it's been fixed now.:)
The name for those muscles are Serratus.......I don't know them in Romanian,so we are even. ;) .........By the way,I think you should tone them down or blend them a bit from what I see now. I would go with Brazil if I were you. Have you ever considered V-Ray,it's really smooth and extra fast.
Well keep going it's looking really fine thus far.I'll check up on you later.

can't make out a difference except that thing hanging down from his neck... :curious: So what is it? What are you up to?
Raul-Reznek
03-14-2003, 07:53 PM
the torso in ONE is wider than is in TWO, i was waondering which was better :D
nadeemmar
03-14-2003, 08:11 PM
heay raul .............you always show us very good work...
for the torso .... i think the one on the right is better .... it looks more natural than the one on the left:rolleyes:
:bounce:
coCoKNIght
03-14-2003, 08:25 PM
Hmm... I was thinking it was the width, but then I thought it's because the one on the right is smaller...
Well, I'd go for the first one, looks more realistic to me now, but who knows when you add arms and stuff, hard to tell which one is better at this stage... wouldn't it be easy to tweak later anyway?
Raul-Reznek
03-15-2003, 06:25 PM

Raul-Reznek
03-15-2003, 07:25 PM
I'll do some real eyes in a bit.
I like the grainy look :)
Do you guys think i should take it out?
Hexodam
03-15-2003, 07:53 PM
thats amazing!:buttrock:
could we get a wire?
JonasNoell
03-15-2003, 08:12 PM
Yes take it out  (I suppose my opinion is not toooo neutral)
And just one more thought. The muscles are really cool looking, but I think that on his chest over the nipples isn't this supposed to be one more or less flat muscle and not like you did some kind of ribbed one?
Just note my english sucks
cANt
Awesome character, superb modeling. I particularly love the face mask. I also think the grainy look works well, however I would check "Monochromatic", since the color noise doesn't look as good IMO. Looking forward to more updates!

That character rules. As someone said earlier in the thread, he has alot of personality. In response to the noise comment... I like the noise, personally. Great work. Very inspiring. :buttrock:

Hi Raul......:wavey:
At it again are we my friend.
Looking excellent If I do say so myself. You are on targe, just came in to add my support of a very fine piece of work,I will leave the rest to you, this creation is in fine hands with you.
To me he looks kind of in between a human, and a non-human type caricature, leaning towards humans a bit more. Due to this I think what porportions you give him are totally up to your vision.( Great thing to create with this freedom, huh?)He can be whatever you want him to be.
Just keep going, you already have a real excellent piece of work here.
