View Full Version : problem loading up metal ray for maya4.5

i just downloaded metal ray plug-in for my maya 4.5 and i installed it following the instruction, but i cant load it up at the plug-in manager ( actually i cant even see the "Mayatomr.mll" option from the menu), anyone installed the plug-in successfully and able to help me out here? Thz alot!

mental ray is a plugin but not like other plugins. if you successfully installed it go to render>render>render using> then select mental ray. and then youre all done. everytime you want to use mental ray you have to make sure maya knows to use it.

but also you do have to load it the plugin manager but you shouldnt have to search for it. try re-installing it if it doesnt work.
