Just wondering if someone knew a good way to set up a global illumination pass?
And how do I use it in the comp later?

A Global Illumination pass is one of the passes you can just check (instead of "beauty pass") in the stats for a render layer.
Generally you'd do an Add operation to combine it with the beauty pass, although you could tweak it however you want first.
