In February/March I created, with help of IcemanJ (http://icemanj.cgsociety.org/about/), a promo animation for Sygic (http://www.sygic.com)'s iDrive navigation software presented at this year's CeBit on a huge HDTV LCD screen.

The client's wish wasn't crystal clear, they kinda wanted to show off their software even to be seen the gui in the anim and the 3D animation should have been just a cherry on top. They wanted character animation, some traffic situation and most of all a happy ending :) So we delivered.

Concepts, sketches etc... was done by me, Ice (http://icemanj.cgsociety.org/about/) partially helped with modeling to meet the deadline, the rest of the movie was again done by me.

You can download the whole animation here (scaled down due to the size) | MPEG2 | 30MB (http://www.duber.cz/portfolio/files/sygic_duber_studio.m2p)

Here are a few screenshots:

And here I found a photo on the net from CeBit showing the booth and our animation ;)
