Hi,

Im planning to buy a new pc.

Before question let me show you some interesting things,



PNY QuadroFx 3500 :

256MB, 256 Bit and 42.2 Gigs Per/s.

price is (in Turkey) = 1260$

-------------------------------------------------------------

PNY QuadroFx 1500 :

256MB, 256 Bit and 40 Gigs Pers/s

Price is = 670$


As you can see there is no big difference between two card but 1500 is half of 3500. I really confused to select one of them.

Another question is,

PNY Quadro FX 4600 have a big memory and clock speed. its OK. But its also support for DirectX 10. And price is 2065$. Do you prefer to pay more than 1000$ just for directX 10. Actually i dont need to much memory. I dont work with so havy scenes. What is you suggestion?

That single figure you are looking at is NOT the only thing that matters. There are other specs that come into play that your are over looking. Though, with the 3500 you get SLI, where as you dont with the 1500. Additionally, The 4600 is quite a bit faster than the 1500/3500. You are not just paying for DirectX 10 abilities for the 4600.
