ok here is my little problem. im using 4.5 and my whole layout is this why creamy color. does any1 know how to chnge it to dark black, or any color in that matter? thnks a lot

Maya's background (not background color in the viewport if that's what your asking) be the same color as your taskbar. So if you want the 3d menu's and such to be darker you have to make your windows (OS) 3d objects darker. rt. click on your desktop and choose appearance and change your colors there. If your talking about the viewport color. You can change that in maya under window-settings/prefs-colors. Then click the menu that says 3d view.
