View Full Version : Grab a frame for a new layer?

Hey guys,

What's the simplest way to grab a frame from a clip to move it onto another layer? Basically i'm doing a little roto and i was to take a clean frame from the beginning of my clip and place this onto the layer beneath to run of the comp duration.

composition > save frame as

then picka place to save it, and under the Output Format twirl down menu, select Post Render Action > Import

then as soon as it renders it will automatically import it, then just drag it under your footage layer. :)
