Hello all you smart people! I am working on a scene that my friend animated, im adding the environment and lighting, so far i have a lovely volumetric light cone illuminating the character, it looks just how i want it to. But now, i need to have wispy snow blowing in to the cone of light, i have tried all of my tricks, i can not think of a way to get the particles to look like white snow flakes in the HWRenderBuffer, they turn grey and black, only a few of them are actually white in any given frame. Can yall think of anything that may work. I am not the best with mel, so i have not done much mel for it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, even just a bump in the correct direction would be nice =D
It seemed like such an easy idea too :/

hi gusy
if you wanna the particle all white ,turn off 'use lighting'

if you wanna the particle fade out or fade in ,reference below

If you are use a sprite system with a shader of your snowflake..try attaching an rgbPP with white only, that should pick up the white in your shaded particle and eliminate the greys and blacks that go with transparency. Will act like a multiply to what your shader is giving you already

Good luck!
