it's always nice to see someone getting into 3d.
you've obviously got some basic modeling skills.
what you need to develope is your eye for detail.
your girl here has some serious issues.
her forehead is too big. hands to flat and that brow ridge..whew.
i don't know how long you've spent on her but multiply that amount of time by 3 and that's about how much time it will take you to get her looking texturable.
don't give up....eat..sleep..dream...3D.

thanks for the replays
I didnt work on any real textures yet for her, only on the mesh.
here is a little update:
Hi Oren Ben-Tov,
I don't know if the choice of a middle of cartoon and realistic model is a good choice. Maybe you should practice your modeling on something you can rely on.
Anyway this is just an idea.
The head seems very strange to me, and the body does not really seem to be well balanced...

more update:
Maybe you should try to finish modeling before tryng rendering and making maps.
Her head looks like an aliens head, especially on the left rendering... Try to correct that ! Unless if it is a personnal choice, then i have nothing to say :)
toma.
