Anyone else notice that XSI Channels and the Simple Tone Mapping lens shader don't work together? Maybe I'm just tired.

if you output 'channels' it's because you're going to post process them ?
then you should apply tonemapping also at that stage.
didn't have time to test the hdr support in fxtree with v6.0, if that works finally, I have a couple of tonemappers to share. eventually you can use a ctrl.buffer output shader to tonemap also seconday framebuffers as they come out from rendering.
