View Full Version : Maya Skybox Seams
mushroomblue 03-08-2003, 03:53 AM I've been trying to get skyboxes into maya for more than a month now. I can never seem to get them perfect, and I can find little information on how to do this. Attached is an example on the skybox seams i've been getting, does anyone know why this happens? or how to correct it?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

You sure youve removed recieve/cast shadows under the attribute editor?

On the file texture nodes turn off U & V wrap. If that doesn't work also try turning off the filtering. Sometimes filtering causes pixels from one side of a texture to bleed into the opposite side.

rebo : receive and cast shadows was already off.
mattwood : U & V wrap was on, turning it off fixed the seams so i didn't play with filtering. thanks very much!
