Hello. I have 2 problems.

1.
As you all know Blend Mode customizes apperance of the layer considering layers behind.
If you merge two layers and one of them will have blend mode set 4 ex. to Screen, in places of the picture where the layer on the bottom is transparent the layer with Blend Mode will work as a normal layer.

My problem is that when I have white text in .jpg format on black background (company logo or smth) i would like to set blend mode to Screen and than save it in .PNG with transparent background.

Magic Wand, and all kind on selection will not work, beacouse the problem is about antyalias text that blends into black background creating that way gray dots around the text. When you set blend mode to screen whole black color is taken and gray dots become little transparent and that is an effect I wish to achieve this effect with transparent background.

2.
I have noticed a strange thing. After creating vector masked object rectangle tool (u) => shape layers sometimes when you try to input free transform values from the keybord like height or width Phoshop acts strange. He is changing your values. For example when you use 100px you will get 99,8px; or similar. Does anyone know how to fix this problem. I think it can be connected to another one that I have. Vector masked objects are antyaliased i don't know why we don't have antyalias checkbox like in rectangle tool (u) => fill layers .

I would appreciate any help.

1. thought it's not possible! blending modes is a function between layers, not just in one layer! cause it blends! btw it's not possible cause a flatened png layyer can't support blending modes too, you can use several ways of selecting methodes to achiev what you want really, here is many opions of color rang sel, you can also increse the contrast befor selecting for a better result, :/
2. it's not for vector masks only, PS changes some digits abit somnetime but it's really an small change n not effective, for example it would change the height of a document of 2m to a 199.9 cm!
