View Full Version : The easiest way to make a hull shape?
Caine777 04-02-2007, 01:58 AM I have a question for you Rhino-veterans. :) What would be the easiest way to create a structure like the hull of a boat, using Rhino? I'm still a little lost among the different tools.
Loft? Surface from a network of curves? Any pointers would be really helpful.
EDIT: Nevermind, I found a tutorial on this at www.3drender.com :)

If you have V3 section 23 in the users guide it's page 415... It is kind of primative but it'll get you going. Now if you have V4 look at the red cd, level 1 users manual. These are just some exalpes, but with Rhino you are not limited to that. You could start with a solid if you want... If this does not help just post back... I can do it a different way for you.. Sweep 2 rails, just play around and it'll come to you...
Enjoy,
M
This was stupid.. I did not see you found a link
