To summarize, I am looking into options for a new workstation graphics card. I'm trying to decide between the Quadro FX1000 with 128mb or the FireGLX-1 with 256 mb. The Quadro looks to be the better Maya card, but this is also going to be used with combustion a lot, and I am also thinking about going to a dual monitor setup.
Just looking for anyone with experience with either of these cards in a dual rig under combustion and/or Maya. Is the extra 128mb that the ATi has a big deal? If only nVidia would release a 256 mb part my decision would be so easy.
