Hey everyone - this is my first post here at CGTalk, although I have lurked for quite a while. I'm eager to start contributing. I'm doing a piece here which I think I would like to have as my demo reel cover, and I really want to make it as perfect as I can.

So here's what I've started with. Please pardon the strange diagonal line at the bottom, it's just the edge of my sketchbook, I'll fix it later.

In case it's not quite obvious, he's supposed to look tired and weary from a battle. But I'm not happy with the pose. I don't think it works well enough, so I've begun to brainstorm different ways of changing it. Here's one that I think works better!

I would gladly welcome any critiques, suggestions, or overpaints. Thanks for taking the time to look!

Hello

I've seen your illustration
For the attitude about the character, may i ask you to see at my own perso?
It's not publicity but i think that it seem's like what i've tryed to express. Please see "my dwarf" by thefrenchie.
I find that the second illustration of the man is more expressive.
Good continuation.
