Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay, Vue

Here is my latest picture. I used 3ds Max 8 and later 9 with VRay 1.5, for foreground, Vue Infinite 5 for background, and Photoshop for compositing renders, some painting and corrections. I wanted to create nice fantasy landscape . I hope you like it, and I'm waiting for crits and comments.

The overall scene effect is really beautiful, so serene :) Good layers mixing (although the flag is kinda broken on its edges). What I don't like, are those smudged clouds, you could leave them as they were... besides that I really like this picture, good work on it!

Well I like it! Personally I would play a little bit with composition, move your sun to the right so we could see some nice effect how sun beams passing over the hills and foliage. The horizon line looks a bit shiny maybe knocking it down provide a nice ethernal look...

Good stuff!
However, the sky has this "distorted" look...you can see it in the shapes of the clouds...like a wavy effect...it's weird...it throws off the nice harmony you've got going on.

Also, that glowy thing on top of the tower...the one that looks like a window...it's waaaay to bright...it draws your eye right to it and distracts from the rest of the beautiful landscape.

I really like the lighting and the layout of the scene. Great use of color. It give me painted feel. I also really like the soft feeling that the image give off. I agree about the light on the tower and the flage to me seems a bit too sharp. Great job.

Great picture. I like the texturing and design, very nice.

One thing that stands out to me is the compositing, it doesn't look quite right. I can't quite put my finger on it but it is especially obviour around the tree. Maybe it's that the lines of where it's cut out are too smooth. You have this very nice painted look (I can hardly tell that it's 3D) and then these hard, lines around the edges of the foreground layer.

Elfa: Yes, I'm not happy with horizon on this pictire, you are right about that.

jcsilvar: glowy thing... hmm.. I don't like it too, I did't have good idea for this window.

cermit: dzieki! tak, polaczenia vue z innym programem do 3d to chyba dobry pomysl.
