hello
i`m looking for something like this in xsi is there a script or something that would make the selected polygon round like in the gif below?
my polygon is a little bit curved and not perfectly square so scaling the corners doesnt work

If you look in the softimage netview, there is a script called spherisize by helge mathee which should do what you're looking for.

I think you need to select the outer vertices, run the script, then select the center vertex.

For more interactive results try scaling the points down and then working with the Proportional Transform Tool using the right mouse button.

You can also do that by applying a Smooth deform to the outline edges.

EDIT: Just make sure to turn off "Consider unselected vertices".
