CGTalk - green bounding boxes...?

hi all!

max was acting very finicky so i exported my file as a 3ds and then reimported. now everything has green bounding boxes around it and i can't group anythingtogether!?

can someone please help me?

hmmmm...could be.
maybe that's why i can't group! lol!

how do i get rid of those things?

Umm.. select it go to group > open or delete.
